Cappuccetto Bianco
Bruno Munari is a master to all of us. And his visionary children books based on the Red Hood tale inspired me to take over the challenge of creating an illustrated book where each illustration conveys what is invisible to the eye, what Cappuccetto Bianco (White Hood) imagines there’s under a huge white blanket.
Starting from the childish representation of the snow as tiny white circles, the pictures come to life for subtraction, simply removing a few flakes. White is the color of the pure souls.
